Other than being a hardcore preservationist, one of the reasons I created this blog was so that it could serve as a pain in the ass for the greedy reptiles who gate-keep music, for the sake of their short term ego at the expense of history.
This section is specifically dedicated to affecting them where it hurts the most. That is, their precious wish-lists, or as I prefer to call, shit-lists.
Basically, a shit-list is a list of (typically) hard to obtain releases or single tracks that an individual must own or seek out at their own expense in order to gain access to a release or file that they publicly list as a locked file, either behind this seemingly benign request, or by way of monetary extortion (ie. Bitcoin).
In some cases however, they have the high horse to request multiple times the content (eg. 1 release for a single track) based on their own subjective valuation of the file you want, before or after you have fulfilled their request.
This scummy practice is rampant on file sharing apps like Soulseek and I intend to screw with it as much as humanly possible.
If you care about preserving music and saving it from total obscurity, please upload a copy of any shit-list you encounter here or in the comment section below, and I will do my best to obtain any vinyl records from this list.
Let's smash those locks!
